We operate on Cypress Black Bayou near Benton, LA. We do not have an on-site location and operate by reservation. We may alternate launch sites based on customer preference, lake conditions, or availability of parking at given times during the season.

Reservations are required. We do not have a physical location on the lake and need notice of your rental so that we know to meet you! Get your reservations in early, as kayaks are in limited supply and bookings can fill up fast, especially on weekends or holidays. Book now to guarantee your kayak.

Rentals are available for half day (4 hours), full day (8 hours), or multi-day/ weekend rentals. Please check our pricing page for details.

We offer single kayaks and double (tandem) kayaks, as well as specialized kayaks for fishing. All kayaks come with paddles and life jackets.

We operate by appointment only. We are glad to accommodate rentals between the hours of 8am and 5pm daily during spring and summer months.

The primary renter must be at least 18 years old with a valid government-issued photo ID.
The person signing the rental agreement assumes full responsibility for all rented equipment and all participants in their group.
MINORS (UNDER 18)
Minors may participate in kayaking under the following conditions:
A parent or legal guardian must be present and sign the rental agreement on their behalf.
A responsible adult (18+) must accompany minors on the water at all times.
One adult may supervise no more than (2) minors at one time.
WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS
Please be aware that each of the kayaks have different weight ratings. Some of the smaller single kayaks upper limits are 225lbs and some of the larger single kayaks have ratings for 275lbs.
weight ratings include the person and the gear for the total weight in the kayak.
This is why we ask about weights when booking so that we can accommodate you best on rental day!

Rentals WILL NOT be permitted or will be suspended for:
Thunder or lightning (or lightning within 10 miles)
Severe weather warnings or watches
Wind speeds consistently above 15 mph
Heavy rain or storms
High waves, or hazardous water conditions
Flooding or rapidly rising water levels
Poor visibility
If thunder or lightning develops while guests are on the water, all paddlers must return to shore immediately.
In the event of a weather-related cancelation, a chance to rebook at a different time, or a full refund will be issued.

Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the reservation start time:
Full refund or free reschedule.Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the reservation start time:
50% refund or full credit toward a future booking.No-shows (failure to arrive at the scheduled time without notice): No refund.
Late arrivals: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your reservation may be shortened or released to other customers. Refunds will not be issued for lost time.
Day-Of Cancellations After Launch
If you cancel after launching due to discomfort, fatigue, or personal preference, no refund will be issued.

Yes, life jackets are required for all kayakers, and we provide one with every rental. No matter the level or experience or swimming ability, everyone can benefit from wearing a life jacket while paddling.

The Renter will be charged for any damage beyond normal wear and tear, including but not limited to:
Cracks or holes in the kayak
Broken handles, straps, or seats
Bent or broken paddles
Torn, lost, or damaged life jackets
Damage from improper use (dragging on pavement, rocks, or concrete)
Damage from striking submerged objects due to reckless use
Paddle replacements: $75.00/each; Lifejacket replacement: $50.00/each; Single kayak replacement: $500.00/each; Tandem replacement: $750.00/each; Repair to kayak: $100 minimum.

Having so much fun and wanting to extend your time? Please use the website to make another reservation, if available or call the number provided. Late fees are assessed at 1.5 times the hourly rate for each hour the equipment is not returned. This is strictly enforced as it jeopardizes another person's trip. Any late equipment affecting another person's rental will be charged the entire cost of the other rental.

Yes, you absolutly may bring your own food and drinks. It is actually encouraged to bring water and snacks.
No glass bottles!
Please avoid leaving trash in the water or on shore. We encourage reusable containers.
